Use this when you need to run daily shipping work.
What changed
The old process generated packing slips, invoice PDFs, and a ShipStation CSV from MOM.
The new process should generate shipping outputs from APSync using invoice and inventory information from QuickBooks.
Basic flow
- Make sure recent HubSpot invoices have synced to QuickBooks.
- Open APSync.
- Click Shipping.
- Run shipping.
- Review the files APSync produces.
- Send packing slips to Alliance.
- Upload the ShipStation file if that is part of the day's process.
Shipping & handling fee — current rules (updated 2026-07-28)
This is the published fee schedule from the website, and where APSync actually stands against it today. Each line says whether the rule itself is confirmed (it's the real, agreed policy) and whether it's implemented (APSync actually applies it yet). A rule can be confirmed but not yet implemented -- that's a real gap, not a contradiction.

Bottom line for now: every order gets the continental 10%/$10.95-minimum fee today, regardless of where it's shipping or what's in it, including service-only orders that should be shipping-fee-free. If you're shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, a US territory, or internationally, or the order is training/online-class/electronic-download-only, double-check the fee by hand -- APSync isn't calculating those correctly yet.
Watch for
- backordered items
- partial shipments
- kits or bundles that should ship as a single warehouse-facing item
- service lines that should not ship
- orders that should wait because QuickBooks is not current yet

Do not send the files yet. Use Submit an Issue and include the invoice number or order number.
